The Graystone Society, located in the Lukens National Historic District in Coatesville, has announced its sixth annual Rebecca Lukens Award to be presented to noted Coatesville developer, Tamara (Tammy) C. Cansler.
Established by the Graystone Society to honor individuals who exhibit the qualities of Rebecca Lukens, the annual award will be presented at a March 22nd reception in the Lukens Executive Office Building, 50 S. First Avenue, Coatesville, PA, the date commemorating Rebecca Lukens 218th birthday. Tickets for this event are $40 and reservations are required.
The award plaque is permanently housed in The Lukens National Historic District, mounted to a scale replica of Rebecca’s original rolling mill. A commemorative etching with each recipient’s name is affixed to the plaque.
